As we reported last week, Caroline Manzois a guest editor for Momtastic this month. For her second post, the Real Housewives of New Jerseystarshared what she called her Manzo mottos. Read on for a little taste of her deep insights.
Most of her general statements fell into the cliché category, like "Never give up" and "Appreciate the little things," but we had a few favorite lines we especially agreed with.
First, no one knows this better than a Real Housewife: "People are either going to like you or they’re not, no matter how you represent yourself. Better to be yourself than a chameleon because the truth always comes out — always."
Hmm, wonder if she’s referring to a specific co-star...
Caroline was particularly critical of the feud between the Giudices and the Gorgas this season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She constantly tried to get them to work things out while on their retreat to Arizona.
But that seemingly pointed motto wasn’t the only piece of wisdom the Real Housewife imparted. Caroline also promoted the powers of laughter and food, writing, "A really great belly laugh or a perfect grilled cheese and tomato soup when you’re cold can also make you smile."
But the best advice Caroline had to offer is something all the Housewives can learn from: "Make fun of yourself and don’t be so serious all the time!"
