Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer underwent a “radical” hysterectomy earlier this month after being diagnosed with early stage endometrial cancer. Though the reality star was undoubtedly scared for the procedure, her rep confirmed that the surgery “went well and she is expected to make a complete recovery.”
Despite the positive outlook on her diagnosis, it seems that things have only gotten harder for the 45-year-old. On October 28, Camille shocked fans when she took to Twitter to share some heartbreaking allegations.
“Info will come out today that is jaw dropping,” Camille wrote. “And women can’t be silenced after being physically abused!”
“Getting my strength back now that I am home,” she added. “Wasn’t able to deal with talking about it after my cancer surgery or what had happen[ed].”
After being bombarded by questions from her followers, Camille revealed that she had indeed been hurt — and that the abuse had happened just days after leaving the hospital.
“I was in fear for my life,” she replied to a fan. “[I’m] working with lawyers and the police. This man should be behind bars.”
While Camille has yet to identify the name of her abuser, fans can’t help but wonder if it’s Camille’s ex-boyfriend, Dimitri Charalambopoulos. In fact, after two-and-a-half years together, Camille recently confirmed that Dimitri is “out of the picture.”
Regardless of her abuser’s identity, we couldn’t be prouder of Camille for staying strong in the midst of such horrible circumstances. We wish her all the love in the world and hope she can find the help that she needs.
