Don't move! Stay very, very still. If we scare them, the houseguests of Big Brother 15 may scurry back into the walls and give up their plans to do ... something. Anything that "The House" (Demanda) hasn't already decreed.
Tonight (August 22), Helen is probably leaving. We know it. She knows it. Even Clowny knows it. Assuming the worst, Helen has been giving Elissa after-I'm-gone pep talks. She even convinced GinaMarie to make peace with Elissa, even though GM has been bashing Elissa along with the others in the house, including Aaryn. Aaryn and Elissa are like the Israel and Palestine of BB15. You can try, but it won't work. They will probably never get along. But if they have a mutual threat, maybe they can try.
Aaryn has her 3AM alliance with Amanda, Andy and McCrae, but ... will it last? It sounds like that alliance may not even survive into next week. And that's without even factoring in whoever joins the mix when a juror reenters the game tonight. If Helen comes right back in, that's great news for Elissa and possibly GM. Maybe they can convince Aaryn and even Andy to jump ship.
Right now on the live feeds, GM is telling Elissa she wants Amanda out of Aaryn's ear, so Aaryn can be her own person. 'Cause if Aaryn is her own person, she'll stick with GM instead of 3AM. As @BB_Updates recorded it, "GinaMarie to Elissa- I kind of want to break up Amanda and McCrae. I'm going to put them up together."
Huzzah! Did you ever think it might be GinaMarie who made the biggest move of the game? Is that crazy or perfectly fitting for this season? Maybe it says it all. But this will only happen if 1) she wins HOH and 2) Amanda and/or Aaryn doesn't get in her face first to scare her off. GM said Spencer would go up if Amanda or McCrae came down. So even now Andy is safe. Andy is going to win this game. Can you feel it? Blech.
But wait! The action is ongoing, and right now GM and Andy — Andy! Amanda's #1 flying monkey — are having second thoughts about dumping Helen. Andy said his gut is telling him they are making the wrong call (way to wait until the 11th hour, Andy's gut). They approached Aaryn, and Aaryn — who only last week said she was closest to Helen in the game — said she's "100 percent sure" about dumping Helen. Aaryn is worried that keeping Helen will strengthen Elissa. Aaryn basically threatens to freak out on Andy and GM if they don't vote for Helen, so they may feel pressured by her.
This is all happening right now, so keep up here. It's not like Helen is necessarily worth saving on her own, since she's another power player like Amanda, but Amanda currently has more power and is more dangerous, so if they keep Helen over Spencer, they can use Helen to dump Amanda and it would be easy to then turn around and dump Helen.
Update: It's already over. World's shortest mutiny. Aaryn freaked out enough that Andy and GM assured her they'd vote for Helen. And then Andy ratted out the plan to Amanda and Aaryn, saying GM approached him to talk to Aaryn so he just went along with it. Effing Andy.
So, fingers crossed that tonight's HOH is not Amanda, McCrae, Andy or Spencer. Andy doesn't have the guts to make a big McCranda move on his own. He needs someone else to carry that blood. Spencer seems to be with The House at this point, but if he senses the power shifting, he'd be on that faster than he tells a disgusting joke. (And this guy is a sicko.) Good luck to Elissa, Helen and anyone else who really dares to stand up to Demanda & McCraven.
