It’s ironic, in a way, that on the same night that Aaryn Gries was publicly called out for her racist comments, her Big Brother 15 BFF GinaMarie Zimmerman — who said things that were just as bad, if not worse — won Head of Household and is poised to be The One Who Destroyed McCranda.
GM could be the savior of the season. Whoda thunkit?
After the Week 9 live show on Thursday, August 29, the HoH results were revealed on the live feeds. GM won her second HoH and Amanda Zuckerman immediately got in her ear to say Aaryn would be so happy to see GM get Elissa Slater out of there. Please. You wish, Demanda. Elissa may have helped Aaryn head out the door, but Aaryn was expecting Amanda and McCrae Olson to save her. If Aaryn was really pissed at anyone, it was McCranda.
Earlier this week, GM made a final four alliance (called The Exterminators) with Judd Daugherty, Spencer Clawson and Andy Herren. They cheered her HoH win, and she told Judd and Andy she planned to put up Amanda and McCrae. This is what we’ve been wanting for WEEKS and the idea that it may come from GM, of all people, is priceless.
Also on Thursday, Julie Chen said there will be a surprise extra competition for the HGs that we'll learn about on Sunday. There will also be another double eviction next week, Thursday. September 5. Two more HGs leaving! Could we possibly see the backs of both Amanda and McCrae, one after the other?
The other day, on the live feeds, GM and Judd were talking about how they would actually like McCrae out even more than Amanda. Bigger threat? Maybe, but Judd wanted to punch his face, for some reason. So it's possible McCrae would be first and then Amanda second — unless she magically saves herself before the second eviction. Knowing Amanda (and the conspiracy theories out there), it could very well happen.
How do you feel about this GM win? Are you optimistic for Week 10? Who will go home first and second, do you think?
UPDATE 1: Bless her stalker heart, she did it! GinaMarie nominated Amanda and McCrae for eviction and they didn't see it coming. Nick may actually want to date her after watching this go down. Right now, on the August 30 live feeds, Amanda is confronting GM and also accusing Spencer of being in on GM's plans. She thinks Andy will help her and McCrae if he wins POV. Andy - everyone always thinks the best of him. Amanda doesn't understand why GM would put up McCranda when they weren't targeting her (yet). Glorious. Follow the drama here.
UPDATE 2: McCrae won Power of Veto. See how he can win things when his tush is really on the line? Don't forget, he won the season's first HoH and POV. He said on the live feeds that he is planning to use it on himself, not Amanda, so Demanda is really screwed. (Hee hee...) Spencer may go up as the pawn, but it's looking pretty darn clear that Amanda will be the week's first boot. Point to ponder: Could GM win the whole season on the strength of this week?
