Who doesn’t love revisiting all the ugly cries and even uglier fights of Big Brother 15?
The BB15 finale airs on Wednesday, September 18. [SPOILER ALERT!] At this point, GinaMarie Zimmerman won the first Head of Household competition (which just started airing at the end of the Sunday, September 15 show) and Andy Herren won the second. They will face off on the live finale to see who wins the final HOH of the season. That person will choose who to sit next to and face the jury. The smart thing to do, whoever wins, would be to take Spencer Clawson to the end since he doesn’t really have many arguments to win.
Anyway, most of Sunday’s episode involved Andy, Spencer and GM sitting around remembering what happened earlier in the season. We re-saw lots of drama and some footage viewed from the live feeds aired for the first time. They didn’t show more of the racist and other nasty comments said this season, but they did show GinaMarie HAMMERING Amanda in a great late-season fight. That was karma right there.
Here are 10 highlights from the look-back:
Could Andy be the victim of a bitter jury? Last week, McCrae Olson was voted out; before he left, Andy, GinaMarie and Spencer sat him down and told him about The Exterminators alliance. Andy admitted that he voted out Amanda Zuckerman and framed Elissa Slater. McCrae said Amanda will be so pissed. (As if she's ever not pissed.) Andy said he knew; he’s not looking forward to seeing Amanda or Elissa. McCrae told the camera: "Andy always used to say that the only way that he'd be a bitter jury member is if he got stabbed in the back, and his words might come back to bite him because he stabbed me right in the back and, you know, I might just go back to jury and be a bitter jury member." McCrae is probably too much of a longtime BB fan to really be that bitter, but it’s interesting that Andy said that about being bitter himself. More karma coming?
Remember Jeremy’s wine rant? Andy asked Spencer about how the Moving Company formed, since he was excluded. We saw a flashback of Nick Uhas and Jeremy McGuire hashing out the alliance. Remember their sit-down in McCrae’s HOH room, when Jeremy said, “I am flabbergasted by the talent in this room”? Ha! Spencer came up with the alliance name, but Jeremy’s arrogant attitude helped to sink the whole ship His wine rant! We got to see that again too, showing Jeremy and Aaryn Gries vs. Amanda and the rest of the house. Aaryn was such a beyotch then. She had time to change up her game, but Jeremy didn’t. Amanda cried to Jeremy that she was sick of all the drama. Jeremy actually said something quite prescient in return: “This house is about the drama, so if you think it’s bad now just wait a few weeks.” Truth.
McCranda’s wedding: This season had a lot of showmances: Jeremy & Kaitlin Barnaby; Nick & GinaMarie; Candice Stewart & Howard Overby (sort of); Aaryn & David Girton, even though she didn’t know his last name; Judd & Jessie Kowalski, then Aaryn; and McCrae & Amanda. We saw some of the origins of McCranda in that HOH bed. Amanda basically insulted the “pizza boy” non-stop, but then she also crawled in his bed … and he got scared. “She’s a man eater.” Then they finally showed Amanda and McCrae’s wedding, which was held back on August 13. Amanda wore a “couture” Big Brother bedsheet, with Andy officiating the wedding. Andy: “I am proud to introduce Mr. and Mrs. Olson!” Be less proud!
Judd the Stud in action: Spencer said he lived vicariously through Judd, who hooked up with Jessie, then Aaryn. We saw Judd making out with Jessie, then later getting kissy with Aaryn right before she was evicted. Two hottest girls in the house and J-U-Double-D got it on with both of them. The power of the bear shirt!
GM’s Nick eviction rant: Andy had a crush on Nick, too. He’s still kinda hoping Nick is really gay. GinaMarie apologized to Spencer and Andy for acting how she did when Nick was evicted. Her heart was just broken. We saw a flashback of how she screamed through the house to try and reach Amanda, Judd, Elissa and the other “cock-a-roaches” upstairs who voted Nick out. “All of youse are so stupid! Vote me out next week ‘cause I don’t give a [bleep] about any of youse! Cook your own damn chicken pop. … Nick is so smart and such a good freakin’ kid.” It was especially great when GM ran out of words to use and Aaryn supplied them for her. Amanda said GM had gone bat-sh-t crazy. And when Amanda thinks you’re crazy, that’s when you need to calm down.
Spencer is taken to Candy-land: Totally forgot about this one, until Spencer brought it up again. Remember when Candice called a house meeting and called out Spencer? He wanted to save Howard and take out Amanda, but Candice basically sabotaged her alliance by airing all of Spencer’s plans (and lies) in front of everyone. Spencer was trying to mislead Amanda, and Candice’s outburst hurt her own and Howard’s game. Spencer, Candy and Howard should’ve been a tight alliance, but it never worked. Candy was great sometimes, a train wreck other times.
Amanda bullies Elissa: We revisited the unforgettable stalking and torturing of Elissa. Andy said Amanda basically did it to help him but he didn’t like the way she went about it. Even GM said it wasn’t funny and it made them all uncomfortable. Amanda’s rant was much worse than what GM shouted up after Nick’s eviction. She was embarrassingly awful with her party horn. But no one stood up to her. No one stood up for Elissa.
Diary Room sobbing: They showed lots of old Diary Room footage, including Elisa saying she just wanted to go home. “Is there a process that I can get eliminated?” That’s sad. GM cried about her heart being in pieces. Kaitlin cried about something being “super-unfair.” (Probably when she was forced to help usher Jeremy out the door.) Amanda cried about being so mad. “I want this stupid bitch to stay. People are so [bleeping] weak and it makes me so mad.” Andy cried. Elissa cried. McCrae cried. Helen cried. GM heaved and sobbed. Candice sobbed. Aaryn cried. Jessie cried and bleeped and cried and bleeped: “I was never fat, at one point I lost a lot of weight, I’ve always been [bleeping] cool, and I don’t need this [bleep].” OK...
GinaMarie vs. Amanda … goes to GM!: Two drama divas fighting = a perfect storm of drama. GM won her late-season fight with Amanda, which basically started with Amanda “smirking.” That’s it. All the boys sat there staring at the table as GinaMarie RIPPED into “victim” Amanda, which was so satisfying to watch. It was pure karma for Amanda going after Elissa. Eventually Judd stood up to get between Amanda and GM, who looked like they were about to come to blows. Amanda demanded an apology and GM sarcastically apologized for speaking the truth. Amanda cried, as she always did whenever anyone responded to her. GM’s response: “There go the waterworks! … The Academy Award goes to Amanda, everybody!” Watch the fight again here. It’s gorgeous.
McCrae followed Amanda into the Have Not room to support her, and she immediately yelled at him for just sitting there while GinaMarie attacked her. “You’re not a little boy, you’re a grown-ass man! … It’s disgusting. If anyone spoke to you like that, you know what I would do.” Yeah, but no one would talk to him like that. Besides, it’s hardly impressive for Amanda to pick a fight on someone’s behalf since she was probably already going to fight with them anyway. Amanda continued to McCrae, “Obviously you don’t know what the meaning of love is.” Run, McCrae. Run even faster than Nick. Get steppin’.
Andy fell into the pool: He was trying to catch a moth and it distracted him and he fell backward into the pool. Loved Spencer’s joke in the DR. “For all the floating that Andy’s done in this game, when he hits the water that dude sinks like an anchor.”
Haha. So … that happened. What did you think? Did you enjoy the walk down memory lane or was it a total waste of time?
