On last Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of AtlantaI,Apollo Nida mentioned that he likes to drop up to $8,000 when he goes to the strip club. And while he said that the majority of that dough was spent on drinks, we have a feeling he won’t be heading to da club anytime soon.
Earlier this month Phaedra Parks’ hubby turned himself over to feds and was charged with bank fraud and identity theft. If he’s convicted of charges, Apollo could spend several years behind bars (he was in the clink from 2004-2009 for racketeering). However, as of January 23, he’s been released on $25,000 bail and is now on probation — which carries some strict conditions of its own.
RadarOnline.comobtained the court documents stating the terms and conditions of Apollo’s probation, and the docs confirm that Apollo is being kept on a very short leash. As Radar explains, “Nida is required to regularly report to a probations officer, and actively seek employment.” The site points out that Apollo’s role on RHoA doesn’t count as employment.
Apollo’s probation also states that he is forbidden from drinking or possessing/using drugs, and he is also required to surrender his passport, meaning there is no overseas travel for him in the near future. Apparently, Apollo can travel outside of Atlanta and around the United States, but the trip must be approved in advance and he will be accompanied by a supervisor at all times.
What’s more, if the father of two violates any of the terms of his probation, the docs warn that it “may result in the immediate issuance of a warrant for your arrest … and could result in a term of imprisonment, a fine, or both.”
So far, neither Apollo or Phaedra has talked about the charges, but we have a feeling all will be addressed at the RHoA Season 6 Reunion in a few months.
