Sometimes after a split, exes can move safely into the friendzone. Apparently, that’s not the case for Amber Rose and Kanye West.
On February 14, Kanye West’s remix of Beyonce’s sultry single “Drunk in Love” hit the internet, and while it had most fans on their feet, Yeezy’s ex flame was not happy about Kanye’s added verse. She tweeted: “Fuck my fav song is ruined. Smh. Terrific.” The not-so-happy Valentine’s Day tweet has since been deleted, but the damage had already been done.
Listen to Kanye West’s remix of Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love” below:
Kanye and Amber broke up in 2010, and the 30-year-old model hasn’t been shy about discussing the emotional pain she suffered in the relationship. Amber broke down in 2012 during an interview with MTV’s Sway Calloway on RapFix LIVE. "No one knows what I've been through and the things that I had to deal with when, you know, Kanye made his album, and he talked reckless about me on his album," she said. "And then, you know, I have people throwing things at me in the street, because they're fans of Kanye's… I don’t deserve to be bullied like that.
Amber even insinuated that her relationship with Ye fizzled after she caught him in an affair with reality star Kim Kardashian. Kanye and Kim — now known around the world as KimYe — are engaged with an eight-month-old daughter, North West. Meanwhile, Amber has also moved on with rapper Wiz Khalifa. The two welcomed their first child, Sebastian Taylor, last year.
However, just because the former lovers are both drunk in love with new flames, doesn’t mean Amber Rose is about to forgive Kanye anytime soon. But we wonder if this means Amber has deleted all of Kanye’s tracks from her ipod…
