The company producing Lindsay Lohan’s docu-series for OWN is discussing doing a reality show on Amanda Bynes with the record producer who has been trying to lure Amanda for months, RumorFix has learned exclusively.
Chinga Chang CEO Dan Herman tells RumorFix exclusively, “I talked to Amanda on Monday and she wants to do this.”
Although Amanda is on a psychiatric hold at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, she is allowed to make phone calls.
Dan tells RumorFix that he pitched a two-pronged deal to Amanda — he’s already offered her a $200,000 advance to do a classic hip-hop album and now he is working with Pilgrim Studios on a potential reality show following Amanda on her journey with her producer, a celebrity mentor and her friends and family as she launches her new career.
Dan says the deal can be very lucrative for Amanda, who could make $80,000 an episode.
The 27-year-old, who remembers watching Amanda when he was a kid, says, “Amanda wants to get out of the hospital as soon as possible and get to work. She knows she made a mistake and she knows she’ll need meds when she gets out.”
The only problem: Amanda can’t make her own decisions right now because she’s under the conservatorship of her mom, Lynn. Dan has not talked to Lynn about this plan yet. And the production company, Pilgrim, hasn’t returned our calls.
