Bad news if you're a freeloader. (Hey, we're not judging! We like the nice price, too, too.) ABC is making it a bit harder to watch the latest, greatest episode of Grey's Anatomy online.
Whereas before you could go online to the Watch ABC site or app the day after an installment airs to catch up on all the Grey Sloan Memorial drama, you'll soon have to have an eligible TV provider to continuing doing so. (The change goes into effect on January 6.)
The approved providers are AT&T U-verse, Cablevision Optimum, Charter, Comcast XFINITY, Cox Communications, Google Fiber, Midcontinent, and Verizon FiOS.
Unfortunately, there's no support for customers of Time Warner Cable, DirecTV, or DISH.
If you don't have one of the supported providers, you'll either have to watch the episodes on-demand, with them a Hulu Plus subscription, or purchase them from Amazon or iTunes.
If you don't like any of those options, you'll have to wait eight days to watch each episode on the Watch ABC site or app for free.
We know, it's a little complicated. Getting our Grey's fix shouldn't be like brain surgery!Source: ABC
