Best-selling author, William Paul Young returns to Tulsa for a one night only speaking engagement. Topping at No. 1 on the New York Times best sellers list for 50 straight weeks and with more than 18 million books in print, Paul Young’s speaking engagement has been rescheduled for Monday, October 14th at the Mabee Center. Tickets go on sale Monday, September 16th at 10 a.m. Presented by Celebrity Attractions in cooperation with the Mabee Center, all proceeds benefit the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in Northeast Oklahoma in memory of longtime supporter Larry Payton.“The FCA is an organization that was very dear to my father’s heart. He left a legacy of giving that we, at Celebrity Attractions, want to continue,” said Drew Payton, COO of Celebrity Attractions and son of the late Larry Payton, founder of Celebrity Attractions. “When we were discussing the rescheduled date for this event, Tony Winters, Mabee Center Building Manager, and Chris Kaiser, Northeast Oklahoma Area FCA Director, were both very adamant that we do this event in memory of Larry.”“My father was such a big fan of both Paul’s books including The Shack but an even bigger fan of the man himself. We are very excited to announce the newly rescheduled date for this special evening with Paul to help raise money for the FCA program right here in Tulsa,” he said.Expect to be swept away as Young shares his stories behind the writing of Cross Roads and The Shack.
