Views from the Old Country: Life in Eastern Europe and Russia as Represented in Objects, Paintings, and Sculpture from the Sherwin Miller Museum Permanent Collection. January 15 - April 28 2013 Many of Tulsa's founding Jewish families traveled from Eastern Europe and Russia to settle in the wilds of Indian Territory. This exhibit features paintings and sculpture that illustrate village life, as well as objects that traveled from the old country to Oklahoma with our founding families.
