Riverfield Rocks is one of the most unique and progressive school band programs in the country. It uses modern and classic rock music to teach the fundamentals of musical performance, theory, and expression in an environment that is both supportive and moderately competitive. The program has been embraced and supported by touring artists such as AC/DC, Paul McCartney, Roger Daltrey and Eric Clapton, who, when performing at the BOK in Tulsa, have had kids from the program watch the production set up, meet with the bands and been given the best seats in the house. The band program has also had the joy of getting to know and spend time with American Idol winner David Cook! Additionally, the program has been locally covered by the Tulsa World, Tulsa Satellite, Urban Tulsa, Infinity Press, the Current, Oklahoma Music Magazine, Tulsa Kids, Tulsa People, and the GT Press. Riverfield Rocks has also performed or been interviewed by local radio stations KMOD and Z 104.5 The Edge and the local CBS, ABC, and FOX television affiliates.
Riverfield Rocks is in it's eighth year, and is around 100 students strong! This is their second time to grace the main stage at Cain's Ballroom! ONLY $10
