Through the Oklahoma State University Spears School of Business, the Center for Executive and Professional Development will present five Management and Professional Development Seminars in Tulsa. Improve your effectiveness at work by applying the skills you gain at these seminars. Seminars are held at the OSU-Tulsa campus, and Continuing Education Units are awarded. Kim McCrackin, coordinator of the Learning Services Center and lecturer of Business Communications at OSU, will present “Editing and Proofreading” in an afternoon session on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. During this session, grammar and punctuation rules will be highlighted, along with professionalism in business writing. Participants can also expect to learn how to apply proofreading strategies, how to develop a consistent writing style and will gain a better understanding of grammatical rules.
